I concur! The media is all over these stories of big banks saving “millions” of home owners from foreclosure thanks to Forbearance, Modifications, blah, blah, blah! I have not met or spoken to ANYONE that has actually had any of those work. The big problem is that the homeowners are seeing this and believing that they have a chance! (I wish they did!) They atttempt a loan mod (or whatever mode of avoidance the banks offer) only to be told they don’t qualify! Meanwhile they have fallen another 5-6 months behind and WOW the foreclosure clock never stopped ticking! Bet they don’t blast that all over the front page or on the 6 o’clock news!!
