However, in learning how short sales work, and how the bank thinks they work, I have run into their incompetence day in and day out. There's one of me, and there are hundreds, thousands of bank employees, and even though I know how the deal is going to go down, they still toss out all of the red tape because they respond like monkeys hoping for a paycheck in this "down economy." Wouldn't want to lose my job, they'd say. Common sense is all I’ve had to apply.
